Assessing
Property assessments are reviewed annually as per Wisconsin Statutes. Any changes to the assessment records are based on what has been recorded with the St. Croix County Register of Deeds office as of January 1 of each year, the construction status of building permits as of January 1 of each year, sales transactions from the previous year and other issues.
The city of Hudson has a contract with Bowmar Appraisal, Inc. for all assessing services for 2021. The services include an on-site or ’drive/walk by’ inspection of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Employees from Bowmar review prior year building permits, open building permits from previous years, property splits, and properties that have sold; and they will be taking pictures as needed for updating records. These inspections are ongoing. We appreciate your cooperation with this process.
