2025 11th Street Pedestrian Improvement Project
The City is working with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to reconstruct 11th Street from Coulee Road to Wisconsin Street. The project includes replacing the asphalt pavement, reconstructing curb and gutter, constructing an 8-foot-wide bituminous path on the west side, and replacing the watermain from Summer Street to Laurel Avenue.
The project will begin at the end of April 2025 and is scheduled to be completed at the beginning of September 2025.

Project Details
The City is planning to reconstruct 11th Street from Coulee Road to Wisconsin Street to address the poor pavement condition and provide safer pedestrian accommodations. The design takes into consideration the public comments received at the Public Involvement Meeting and the Hudson School District Safe Routes to School Plan completed in 2018 for E.P. Rock Elementary School.

Public Involvement Meeting No. 1

Final Special Assessment letters were mailed to property owners on October 17, 2025 with the final amount owed. Payment in full is due November 7, 2025. If you elect to not pay in full, your special assessment will be automatically placed on your property taxes as indicated in the letter you received.
