Hudson Public Transit
The Hudson Public Transit Program is a door-to-door shared-ride taxi service operation on a demand-response basis. "Share-Ride" means that you may travel with more than one passenger with different destinations and/or origins.
Telephone Scheduling: Please call 715-961-4707 to schedule a ride. You are encouraged to call for a ride at least 60 minutes in advance of your appointment to ensure the service can accommodate your request. Inform dispatch of the following information when scheduling:
- Number of Passengers
- Pick up Location
- Pick up Time
- Destination Location
- Wheelchair Requirements
- Contact Phone Number

Please allow enough time to arrive at your destination in case of unforeseen delays such as route deviations, bad weather, or peak service times.
Hours
The Hudson Public Transit operates Daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Fares
- Adult $3.50
- Student $2.50 (Ages 5-18)
- *Reduced Fare $2.50 (Passengers 65+ or with Disabilities)
- Out of city limit miles $2.50/mile
Fares listed are effective 1/1/2024. Holiday hours, current hours and rates can be viewed and confirmed on the Runnings Inc. Hudson Public Transit website.

A reduced fare is offered to Seniors (65+) and Disabled Passengers from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
Wait Time
25¢ per minute, up to 10 minutes. Maximum wait time is 10 minutes, after which, an additional fare will be charged.
The City of Hudson has received State and Federal grant dollars to help fund a shared-ride taxi program. The taxi service is open to anyone and operates within the city limits of Hudson and in the State of Wisconsin within 5 miles of the city limits.

Any person who believes they have been discriminated against on the basis of race, color, or national origin by the City of Hudson may file a Title VI Complaint by completing and submitting the agency’s Title VI complaint form.
