The Hudson Urban Forestry Board has selected the following varieties of trees as their 2023 Trees of the Year. The Pin Oak is a large shade tree, the Eastern Redbud is a smaller ornamental tree, and new for 2023 the board has selected to highlight a shrub called Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry to provide habitat for birds. If you are interested in purchasing a tree of the year, please complete the attached form and return it to City Hall with payment by April 14th.
