The Wisconsin Street reconstruction project in the City of Hudson will begin Thursday, June 11, 2015, and is anticipated to continue through Friday, September 4, 2015. The project area on Wisconsin Street is from Vine Street to Eleventh Street.
The project will include the reconstruction and installation of City sanitary sewer, water and storm water utilities, and street improvements, including street surface, curb and gutter, bicycle lanes, boulevard an sidewalks. Xcel Energy will conduct relocation of natural gas and electric services as needed.
Due to the scope of the project, this section of Wisconsin Street will be closed to through traffic, with vehicles being detoured to Ninth Street or Eleventh Street and to Grandview Drive.
Local access will be provided to WinterGreen Senior Apartments, Pine Ridge Assisted Living and the Christian Community Home of Hudson, and to the Wisconsin Court cul-de-sac.
Traffic from the Hunter Hill Road neighborhood west of Wisconsin Street will be routed east on Hunter Hill Road to Grandview Drive.
The Wisconsin Street access on the west side of the St. Patrick Church will be closed. Access from Vine Street to St. Patrick Church will remain open throughout the project.

Any information received from the project engineer or contractor on construction progress or changes will be shared on the City news on the main page of the website, as well on a Wisconsin Street link on the left side of the main page.
