NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of Appeals of the City of Hudson, Wisconsin will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. to invite public comment in regard to the consideration of a variance application by the YMCA for their property at 2211 Vine Street, Hudson, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. The property is zoned R-1, Single Family Residential. The variance application is a request to install an electronic message display (EMD) sign where their existing freestanding sign is currently located on the premises and specifically includes appeals for the following:
- Request to construct an electronic message display (EMD) sign in an R-1 District (City of Hudson Code §202-6(C)(7))
- Exceedance of 30 square foot sign area maximum by 2 square feet (City of Hudson Code §202-6(C)(7)(b))
- Reduction in 150-ft setback requirement from Residential Districts by 68-ft (City of Hudson Code §202-6(C)(7)(h))
The meeting will be held by virtual conference only. Citizens may participate in the hearing by live video or over the phone by voice.
