Fall weather has finally arrived in our neck of the woods, and with it comes a lot of work to finish up the project and clean up any loose ends.
Here is what to expect in the near future:
- Traffic will shift over to the west side of the road between Division Street and South Street TODAY, Monday, October 25th!
- Concrete pavement will be placed on the east side of the street between South Street and Wisconsin Street tomorrow.
- Storm sewer and grading work on the east side of the street between Division Street and South Street will begin today or tomorrow.
- Median pedestrian refuge islands will be constructed at St Croix Street sometime this week.
- Other cleanup and miscellaneous restoration work will be happening the remaining portion of this week between Vine Street and St Croix Street.
- 2nd Street between Vine Street and St Croix Street is anticipated to be reopened to traffic by the end of the week.
- Traffic in North Hudson will be rerouted onto 6th Street N to Wisconsin Street instead of using South Street starting sometime next week.
- The traffic signal between Division Street and South Street will continue to be in operation for 3-4 weeks longer.
As mentioned in the last update email, Halloween festivities on 3rd Street will be proceeding as “normal” this year.
