The City of Hudson's Organizational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, 2025, as mandated by Wis. Stat. §62.11(2) which states, "...the new council shall first meet on the 3rd Tuesday of April."
During this meeting, the city will appoint members to standing committees and boards. Any person whose term is ending will be reviewed by the mayor, and a recommendation for reappointment or new appointment will be presented to the council at this meeting. If any member of the public is interested in serving, the following committees have terms expiring:
- Zoning Board of Appeals (3-year term) - 3 seats available
- Park Board (5-year term) - 1 seat available
- Police & Fire Commission (5-year term) - 1 seat available
- Urban Forestry Board (2-year term) - 4 seats available
- Downtown Parking Utility (DPUC) (3-year term) - 1 seat available
- Hudson Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (2-year term) - 4 seats available
- Hudson/North Hudson Community Access Board (3-year term) - 4 seats available
- Hudson Housing Authority (5-year term) - 2 seats available
